The Set
I need a set/stage crew. If you are interested in helping in this area please notify me ASAP. We will have a meeting Nov. 11th after service to go over blocking, set details and additional needs. This will take place in the conference room.
I will list on this page a list of needs that we have for props, set, and costumes. If you have these items or know where we can get them this will help us with our costs. Items that we need will be in RED. If your child has special costume/prop requirements (drumsticks, brief case, scooter, etc.) and you do not have them, I can post them here if you let me know.
Stage, Set and Costume needs…
Old style black board that flips around.
Cubbies/lockers – possibly use the cubbies from the daycare to create a hallway on stage
Lockers – flat painted backdrop to me on main level of Sanctuary against the platform where children can place their back packs at the beginning of the day.
One working locker – Stephen needs a locker on the stage that he can open and have packets and bottles of ketchup fall out. There is one in the den/basement, but is it too tall?

One mustard bottle
Frogs - stuffed, plastic, or any that might be useful in our music room(large enough to be seen on stage by the audience)
Tables and chairs – use the school tables and chairs from the daycare. The tables need to be raised from preschool height to a grade-school height. Are these chairs too short? We need to seat approx. 20-30 students. This might be difficult. The Kanary and Kindergarten class will sit on the floor next to M’Lady.
Teacher/Secratary desk and chair – On the main level we need a large desk for the Secretary. One of the SS class room desks would be perfect, but this will take man power to move since they are heavy.
Xylophone – for announcement chime
Retro style mic. – Mic. for Secretary to make announcements into. Thanks Bro. Russ for finding this!!!
Lost n’ Found – sign with table or box for last hallway scene.
Lunch room – needs of this scene TBD
Class party – we will need confetti cupcakes and lime green punch, Christmas party paper products and possibly some decorations.
